Overview
Storata provided the Azure computing platform for SAP to help IBM deliver a contemporary ERP project for the Department of Defence.
Commencing in July 2019, Storata partnered with IBM and members of the Defence Department to offer Azure infrastructure particularly tailored for SAP. In order to design and implement the new ERP, Defence was able to safely link its Protected Network to Azure AU Central, which is now hosting SAP/4HANA.
The ERP is anticipated to assist simplify as many as 500 systems inside Defence and update the way that funds, logistics, HR, engineering, maintenance, and property are managed.

Resolution
- It was necessary to automate the Azure architecture particularly for SAP in order to allow the SAP team to quickly develop and test SAP configurations in production settings.
- Storata collaborated with the Architecture Branch and important business sectors to approve and deploy services quickly and effectively using a range of Azure capabilities.

- Without missing a single deployment date, the Storata team executed their design to deployment seamlessly.
- The Defence ERP will enable the resilience, security, and performance needed both today and in the future by utilising SAP/4HANA and reliable cloud capabilities.
